Authentic Movement is a form that brings our feelings, sensations and intentions into closer alignment. Sessions are 45 minutes to an hour in length and are completely confidential. Together with you as mover and me as witness, let’s start to unfold old patterns or habits you are ready to let go of. I can also offer advice on postural alignment and chronic body stress issues.
When was the last time you felt fully seen? In Authentic Movement a mover (you) is moving their body intuitively and a witness (me) has only one job: to pay attention and see you. No judging, no objectifying, no superficial evaluating. One-on-one Authentic Movement practice allows the wisdom and the expression of our body in movement to help us see and resolve many types of distress, trauma, or inner conflict. It can also be a pleasurable way to connect and integrate even if there isn’t a particular conflict going on.
