In this workshop, we will begin our investigation and experimentation with three questions: What types of stories do we tell when we move, write, or speak/sing? How might we use all three of these to unearth a personal narrative with courage? Who is our story meant for? Other questions and departure points will surface as we explore several paths including vocal/breath work, shared writing, and structured movement improvisation. Come ready to playfully test your limits!
The workshop is appropriate for older teens and adults with any level of experience with words and/or movement. Participants, please bring a notebook and a towel or small blanket.
